LingueeLab FAQ
I see two places where I can register. Where should I sign up?
Registration on Duolingo Events is preferred. Meetup registration is available as an alternative for those without Duolingo accounts.
Do I have to register for the event?
Yes, your online registration is important, so that we can arrange a one-on-one language exchange.
Signup is full. What do I do?
Tickets are available on both Meetup and Duolingo Events! Check both for availability. And if you can't get in, don't despair, events are held every week! Join the group for your target language on Duolingo Events to be notified when tickets are available for the next event.
My first language is Spanish and I want to practice English. Which ticket do I sign up for?
Select "Practice English (Spanish speaker)".
I want to practice both Spanish and Arabic. How do I register?
You can only register to practice one language at each event. Come again to practice the other language!
English isn't my native language, but I want to practice French at LingueeLab. Is this okay?
As long as you will still be able to help an English learner, you are welcome to register for "Practice French (English speaker)".
My language isn't offered. What can I do?
Contact us with your language request, and it may be offered at a later time. In the meanwhile, check out Language Swap Tucson for other language practice events, and join the email list to be notified as more events are announced.
