Want to learn a new language but not sure what? Studying a language but have no one to talk to? Curious how to say _____ in a half dozen languages?

Come meet your language match this Friday at Language Speed Dating! When the event starts, you will sit across from another attendee and have 4 minutes to talk in or about the languages you speak or learn. When the time is up, you'll switch to a new random partner.

How you choose to divide your time is up to you, and the language possibilities are many. Perhaps one of you is learning Spanish and another is a Spanish speaker. Perhaps both of you are fanatics of Finnish. More likely, at least one will speak a language the other is mostly unfamiliar with, and you'll have a few minutes to learn the very basics, while sharing something you know in return.

After the Language Speed Dating, we'll have some time to connect with the people we've just met, follow up with more language practice, or just socialize with friends new and old.
